Much is written about the relationship between Johannes Brahms and Clara Schumann. It is quite obvious that the two admired and respected each other, but neither ever married after Clara was widowed. Brahms was a phenomenal composer and Clara an outstanding pianist.

Trio Jardin members Laura Tomlin, Christine Crookall, and Clara Park will play Clara Schumann’s one and only Piano Trio.

The concert will also feature Johannes Brahms’ one and only Horn Trio with Deryck Clarke, Tomlin, and Park. This concert had to be delayed from last year’s season
